Simon Le Bon says the late Princess Diana left him stunned when she wolf-whistled at him at the gym. The Duran Duran frontman regularly saw the beautiful royal at the London fitness club where they were both members, and insists Diana could be cheeky when she wanted to.
Simon, who is due to perform at the Concert for Diana on Sunday, told Britain's Radio Times magazine: "She and I used to go to the same fitness club - Chelsea Harbor in London. One day I was on the running machine. I jumped off because one of my shoelaces had come undone, and she wolf-whistled at me across the room, and yelled, like a builder, 'Nice legs! I'd recognize that bum anywhere!'
"I was quite taken aback, actually, and quietly got back on the machine with a red face."
Diana - who was tragically killed in a Paris car crash in August 1997 - was known for being down-to-earth and for her fantastic sense of humor.
Status Quo rocker Rick Parfitt says he will always have fond memories of the princess.
Talking about one of several dinners he enjoyed with Diana - who he first met at the Live Aid concert in 1985 - the musician recalls: "There was no stiff upper lip, no airs and graces. It was like she was just the girl next door.
"The language would sometimes get a bit risque when she was around, but she didn't seem to mind. I always thought of her as one of the lads."
