Daredevil performer Steve-O is being sued for assault and battery by a doorman his bodyguard allegedly punched last year.
According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, doorman Roland Cano claims that he was at his post for Kitson during Paris Hilton's clothing line launch in August 2007.
The "Jackass" star - real name Stephen Glover - showed up at the front door at the trendy shop with his former football player bodyguard Reggie "Big Regg" Pace and a film crew for his reality show "Dr. Steve-O." He allegedly demanded to be let in.
When Cano refused them entrance, Big Regg grabbed him and ran past him into the store. He said that he followed them inside and escorted them back outside. That's when the bodyguard punched his head repeatedly "without provocation."
Steve-O allegedly boasted that his "dude rip that security guard's face... it was awesome" and hugged his bodyguard saying, "Nice work man. You made me so proud of you... We won!"
Cano's suit names the actor, his bodyguard, and the show's producers as defendants. He is asking for unspecified damages.
