Britney Spears has recently spent time in rehab, shaved her head in an erratic act of defiance, separated from her husband and danced around the U.S. in a bra. On paper, she isn't exactly the type of girl you would want your ex-husband to move on to.
But this may be the reality for Reese Witherspoon if reports that Britney has her sights set on Ryan Philippe turn out to be true.
Paparazzi blog x17online.com has reported that Britney became interested in the new bachelor during a night out at Hollywood nightclub Les Deux.
The blonde-wigged star allegedly danced her night away with the father-of-two. A source told the paparazzi site, "Britney hung out with her friends and her security guard in the VIP area of the club. She looked really happy."
While Britney may not be the best rebound girl during this phase of her life, Ryan is the best candidate for a boyfriend the singer has been linked with since the Colin Farrell days. Between K-Fed, Isaac Cohen, J.R. Rotem, Britney's taste in men has been questionable since she broke up with Justin "Sexy Back" Timberlake.
But Britney is trying to show the world that she is in a more positive place in her life. She wrote a message to fans via her official website, thanking them personally for the support over the past few months.
Fanatic Britney supporters have not wavered through the bizarre behavior, divorce and very questionable dress sense.
She wrote, "I am so blessed that you care enough about me to be concerned and will continue to live in this brighter state with all of you by my side during this trying time. We are all the lights of the world and we all need to continually inspire others and look to the higher power. You are all in my prayers. Godspeed."
Britney is now sporting longer, blonder hair extensions to cover her cropped locks.
