Mariah Carey has infuriated radio bosses when she canceled all her radio stations interview because she's "not a morning person."
The "Touch My Body" singer, who had recently admitted loving being called a "diva," has lived up to her title when after demanding a lot of things for her scheduled interview and then canceling her appearance.
Sources say that one of her entourage has told Capital breakfast show that "she's not a morning person."
Even then, BBC Radio 1 was forced to reschedule her 11am interview until Thursday. They were apparently told they had a logistical problem in getting her four-car entourage in the station.
A source at Capital says, "We had made sure we complied with her list of demands. We even got a load of straws in because she only drinks fruit juice through a straw."
"We can't always wait around for guests, no matter how famous they are. We are working to tight schedules."
Carey, 38, also reportedly demanded a $20,000 gym next to her suite and only wanted to be served olives and nuts during her stay.
And the demands of the diva didn't end there. She also said to have banned reporters from the filming of Channel 4's "The Friday Night Project."
A radio insider says, "She wants control over all her radio and TV interviews and demanded they were pre-recorded so she can cut out the bits she doesn't like."
"Usually celebs don't mind people in the audience, but Mariah was worried in case she fluffed up."
Carey is in the U.K. to promote her "E=MC2" album.
