In Touch magazine has the scoop - and apparently the proof - that Tom Cruise is straight.
Despite being married to three different Hollywood actresses and fathering a child, the tabloid still needed to get further evidence that Tom is a heterosexual.
In Touch has revealed in the most recent cover story that a private detective, Paul Barresi, has been watching closely for six years to see if the A-list movie star has any homosexual tendencies.
According to the reports, Paul began his research after Tom's marriage to Nicole Kidman ended. He will now hand his findings over to biographer Andrew Morton who is writing a book about the actor.
Barresi told In Touch, "Everything I have found, and everything I know, points to Tom being heterosexual."
Contactmusic.com has also done some research, this time on Paul, and has discovered that he is an ex-porn star. Two gay porn stars have claimed, over the years, that the "Mission Impossible" star is gay.
Tom is currently married to "Dawson's Creek" star Katie Holmes.
