Whitney Houston is ready to shock and impress audiences everywhere. Denzel Washington recently commended the diva for beating her drug problem, letting go of a stormy relationship and being on "the right path."
The charming actor - who co-starred with Whitney in 1996's "The Preacher's Wife" says he has no doubt the singer will make a huge comeback and be better than she ever was before.
He says the singer has been through quite enough in her life, but she's overcome her obstacles and is finally ready to stand on her own two feet alone. He insists that her comeback is going to "explode."
According to StarPulse.com, Denzel said, "I've talked with Whitney a few times since I was in New Orleans. She's made a decision to turn her life around and I'm just praying for her. She's been clean and clear for months now and I just know she's going to explode."
The 51-year old admits he prays for the now blond-haired, striking diva and believes she will continue to change her life around.
He added, "People love her. She's one of the greatest voices of her generation and she's had a rough life. She's on the right path and I just pray she continues on that path. We all go through some things in life. As they say, 'There's no testimony without a test.' So she has one and I as I said, I pray and I believe she's going to come through. Clive (Davis - Houston's record producer) knows it. He's no dummy. He's right there and probably in the studio making great music."
