Who thought it would have lasted this long? But now the end is here and another celebrity romance has reached its demise.
Denise Richards and Richie Sambora are no more. It has been confirmed by the actress' representative that the couple have not been in each other's love nest for two months now.
The rep goes on to say that they decided to keep it on the DL because they wanted some privacy, when truth to the matter is that they didn't want to deal with the media frenzy surrounding their break-up.
In Touch Weekly quotes a friend as saying, "They didn't want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful."
The lovebirds, who had been dating for about a year, began seeing each other after Denise said sayonara to her ex-husband, actor Charlie Sheen, and Richie split with his bombshell wife, Heather Locklear.
