David Hasselhoff has been released from the hospital.
The 55-year-old star checked himself into Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center last weekend after an open wound above his eye began bleeding. He had previously had an operation to remove something from the area, but the stitches came loose on Saturday.
The actor was photographed on Wednesday talking on his cell phone and sporting a large bandage above his left eye.
Following the incident, Hasselhoff's assistant Judy Katz denied reports the "America's Got Talent" judge had entered rehab, insisting: "He's fine, he had something removed."
The father-of-two was initially admitted to a rehab center last October to treat his addiction to alcohol.
Hasselhoff's divorce from his wife of 16 years Pamela Bach was finalized earlier this year. The former 'Baywatch' star agreed to pay $25,000 a month to support his ex-wife and two daughters, 17-year-old Taylor-Ann and 15-year-old Hayley.
