David Beckham is terrified of turning into a "fat, bald old man." The soccer star - who has three sons with wife Victoria Beckham - is concerned he is losing his superstar looks and is doing everything in his power to maintain his youthful appearance.
A source said: "David has turned crazy insecure. He is constantly telling Victoria he is scared of going bald, or if he spots a hint of a paunch on his midsection then he hits the gym for an hour."
"David is so vain - he can't stand the thought of growing into a fat, bald old man."
However, former Spice Girls star Victoria is less than worried about her husband's aging, and even finds it amusing he is so paranoid.
The source added to the National Enquirer magazine: "Victoria tells him she found some hair in the shower, and asks - was that his? She loves teasing him about his future as a schlumpy old man because it gives her the upper hand - a button to push."
