The British actress - who won an Oscar earlier this year (06) for her supporting role in "The Constant Gardener" - gave birth to her son in New York.

Rachel Weisz is pregnant with her first child. The sexy actress and her husband, American film director Darren Aronofsky, are said to be expecting the baby next summer.

The star, who last week was named Best Actress in the British Independent Film Awards for her role in "The Constant Gardener," is said to be thrilled with the news.
