John Mayer delivers his "fearless" speech at Cosmopolitan Magazine's Fun Fearless Male of the Year Award Monday. The 'Belief' singer gave a speech on what fearlessness is to him as he was honored by the magazine for the award.
"Fearlessness is the loss of my original design," the 30-year-old singer says. "I wanted to be Bruce Springsteen, I wished so badly that I could have had platinum records 10 years ago when there weren't these new nuisances, encroaching incidences that really bring about fear. Joking in front of a cameraman outside of a restaurant is an incredibly fearful event.
