Kate Winslet has won another battle against Hollywood's skinny obsession.

The English actress has received an undisclosed libel damages and a public apology from Britain's Grazier magazine.

The tabloid had reported that the four-time Oscar nominee was visiting a Chinese herbalist in Los Angeles in a bid to loose weight.

However, the outspoken defender of curvy bodies disputed the story and sued the publication. Winslet was going to the doctor for a neck injury.

After the verdict was announced, Winslet said she was pleased with the result.

She issued a statement through her lawyer, saying, "Grazia magazine have apologized to me in full, and admitted that their story was incorrect, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. I feel very strongly that 'curves' are natural, womanly and real. I shall continue to hope that women are able to believe in themselves for who they are inside, and not feel under such incredible pressure to be unnaturally thin."

Winslet has a daughter and has expressed fear over how she will cope if Hollywood's 'size zero' craze continues.

The actress will donate the damages to an eating disorder charity.
