Courtney Love can't wait to ditch "dirty Los Angeles" for "cleaner England." The former Hole frontwoman is looking for a quaint English countryside home to have a healthier place to raise her teenage daughter.
Love, 43, had inherited her late rocker husband Kurt Cobain's $70 million fortune in 1994 when he committed suicide. Their daughter, Frances Bean, is now 15 and Love fears that Los Angeles isn't a good place to raise her daughter. She is currently house-hunting in the British countryside.
She says, "I am fed up with Los Angeles. It's dirty and full of crazy people. I want a complete lifestyle change. People criticize Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood."
Rolling Stone magazine's "most controversial woman in the history of rock" has been viewing houses in Sunningdale, Berkshire, which is close to Prince Andrew's home.
She continues, "I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be. I've been house-hunting seriously and I'll know as soon as I find the perfect place."
Love also says that Hollywood is not a healthy place for a teenager like her daughter to grow up. She says, "There are too many bad influences. Frances is looking forward to the move to England."
