Courtney Love urges Britney Spears to get help. The rocker, who had her share of drug addiction, gives the pop star advice to reach out before it gets worse.

"I know exactly what's going on, having been there. If she doesn't get help something very, very bad is gonna happen," Love says.

The 43-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain had been in the same situation before. In October 2003 she had lost custody of their child, Frances Bean Cobain. She had regained custody in January 2005 only after she had completed a state-enforced rehabilitation program and probationary period.

"Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but other than me and Britney, no one's ever been strapped to a gurney," she adds.

Love also insists that having bipolar disorder is not shameful, she also have one herself. "It has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt it's a genetic condition and it's a disease. It's a part of our brain that doesn't care about consequences, it doesn't care if our children are gonna be taken away."

Love also has some loving words to another troubled star Lindsay Lohan. "I went up to Lohan's room one time and there was a show on called 101 Celebrity Oops, and I'm like, every other one - boobs out, legs akimbo, throwing s*** at Madonna. I'm like, 'Lindsay look, drugs are bad!'"
