Courtney Love has been sued for allegedly duping a business management and accounting firm over a percentage of Nirvana's publishing rights.

Love, widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, purportedly failed to give London & Co. their share of $975,000 from the proceeds of the band's publishing rights, which was sold for $19.5 million. They claim that Love made an oral agreement with them in which she promised to give them 5% of her earnings.

Although it is unclear which deal they are referring to. It may be the suit that occurred in 2006 when the former Hole rocker sold her 35% share of Nirvana holdings to former Virgin Records exec Larry Mestel, which was rumored to be worth $50 million.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
