Rocker and Golden Globe-nominated actress Courtney Love had been the latest victim of thievery Wednesday. The 43-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain had her $100,000 pink diamond earrings and yellow drop earrings stolen from her New York hotel room.
Love was staying at the elite Four Seasons Hotel with 15-year-old daughter Frances Bean when the earrings were stolen. It was reported that the former Hole singer hadn't even gotten them insured yet.
"Courtney is devastated. She had brought the earrings for Frances as her Christmas present. Frances hadn't even tried them on yet," celebrity blogger Perez Hilton says.
But hours after NY police investigated the incident on Thursday morning, the two pairs of earrings were mysteriously returned to the hotel.
