Courteney Cox and David Arquette are planning to adopt a child in a bid to save their marriage. The couple - who have been married for nine years and already have four-year-old daughter Coco - are desperate to add to their family but Courteney, 44, has so far been unable to fall pregnant, causing arguments between the pair.

According to National Enquirer magazine, a source said: "David wants a sibling for Coco, but Courteney's reached a point where she feels it's hopeless to keep trying to get pregnant."

"Marley & Me" star Jennifer Aniston loves to spend time with her friends. The former star of the long-running sitcom "Friends," spent Christmas Eve with former "Friends" star Courteney Cox Arquette, her husband David and their daughter Coco.

Now Aniston plans on ringing in the New Year with the Arquette gang also. She has flown to Los Cabos in Mexico to spend the holiday with them. Aniston isn't the only one planning on welcoming in 2009 from Mexico.

Courteney Cox's daughter wants to follow her into acting. Coco, four, whose father David Arquette is also an actor, has already shown a flair for her parents' profession.

David said: "Coco will probably follow in our footsteps, unfortunately. She has a really strong personality."

The "Friends" actress and her husband David Arquette held the bash at their Beverly Hills home, and a host of famous faces - including Jennifer Aniston, Sacha Baron Cohen and his partner Isla Fisher - attended.
