A Californian mortgage company has bought Courtney Love's Washington bungalow after she failed to make the scheduled payments.
The rocker who often finds herself in and out of rehab for drug abuse, bought the 102-year-old house on the border of Capitol Forest, Littlerock, in 1997 for her late husband Kurt Cobain's sister Kim, who recently moved out.
According to a lawsuit, Love stopped paying the mortgage in December 2003 and owed thousands in unpaid loans and legal fees.
WMC Mortgage now owns the bungalow after a foreclosure auction attracted no bids.
