It seems like Clay Aiken hasn't started the holiday season on a high note - literally. For all we know, Kelly Ripa may have put a curse on the singer after he shut her up during a live taping of her morning show with Regis.

Clay didn't have it all together on Saturday when he was performing before a live audience in Illinois. The former "American Idol" finalist kicked off his Christmas tour, hoping to leave everybody speechless with his amazing voice; however, his vocal chords weren't budging and called it a break halfway through one of his songs.

Barbara Walters of "The View" said Wednesday the feud between her co-host Rosie O'Donnell and Kelly Ripa from "Live with Regis and Kelly" is over, declaring that all is now "well with the world." Ripa and O'Donnell had quarreled a few days earlier over a remark Ripa made to "American Idol" star Clay Aiken while he was on her show.

Aiken had put his hand over Ripa's mouth while she was interviewing the winners of "Dancing With The Stars," and she responded by pushing his hand away. Aiken then said, "Oh, I'm in trouble," and Ripa replied, "No, I just don't - I don't know where that hand's been."

Although Kelly Ripa still has her panties tied up in a bunch and can't stop telling the whole world how Clay Aiken did her wrong, it's a good thing the pop singer has a good sense of humor and, unlike somebody we know, can simply lighten up.

Since the Aiken-Ripa controversy erupted last Friday, Clay had mostly chosen to stay mum about the matter and let the women - raging Kelly and outspoken Rosie - battle it out among themselves. However, at the American Music Awards on Tuesday night, Clay finally took to the stage and had a little bit of fun himself.

Talk about a never-ending story.

Even after Regis told Kelly on Monday's "Live" show that Clay Aiken was probably nervous conducting the interview (and sitting next to Kelly, who wouldn't be?), the diva still wasn't willing to shut her trap and move on.

Don't you dare think of ever laying your hand on Kelly Ripa, or she will definitely rip you a new... well, you know.
