Tough guy isn't only an act for actor Chuck Norris, he is taking his image one step further in court as he sues an author who he says depicted him as the bad guy.

The 67-year-old tough guy sued Penguin Group Inc. and Ian Spector, the book's creator, Friday.

Norris says that Spector's satirical book, 'The Truth About Chuck Norris', is ruining his good image by portraying him as callous and unlawful. Norris also claims the book includes false "facts" that are racist and lewd.

Carlos Ray Norris, the actor's real name, says the preface of the book refers Spector's meeting with him and the book thanks him for "playing along."

But the lawsuit says that Norris never authorized the defendants to use his name, image or likeness in connection with commercial sales of the book. The tome was published on November 29, which according to Norris, he tried to stop but Penguin rejected his efforts. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, a stop to its publication and a recall of the already sold books.

Spector is a Westbury, New York resident and an undergraduate at Brown University.
