Christina Applegate feels like she is "dying in the desert." The "Samantha Who?" actress is planning to embark on a quest for self fulfillment this year, comparing herself to a desperate traveler in scorching conditions.

She said: "It's about finding happiness and joy, as if it were water and I was a person dying in a desert. You have to search for that."

Kristen Johnston has become the latest celebrity to pose nude for PETA. The former "3rd Rock from the Sun" star - who recently caused concern with her drastic weight loss - poses as Lady Godiva, naked and astride a horse, in the photograph which debuted in New York's Central Park Thursday.

The 41-year-old actress has joined forces with the animal rights group to campaign against the horse-drawn carriage rides on offer in New York.
