Even with MTV's Video Music Awards right around the corner, new artists are being added to the ongoing list of performers everyday. Most recently, pop star Christina Aguilera was one of them.
MTV announced earlier this week that platinum-blonde Christina will be singing at this year's awards show extravaganza. She will be performing alongside Ludacris, the All-American Rejects, and Pharrell.
Additional performers have yet to be announced.
For the first time in the VMA's, viewers will have the opportunity to cast their favorite vote on all categories, not just "Viewer's Choice" as it has been in the past.
The 2006 VMA's will be hosted by funny man Jack Black. The big show will be broadcast from New York's City Radio Music Hall on August 31.
