Christina Aguilera has given up junk food - because she is paranoid she will have a heart attack.
The "Dirrty" singer is a self-confessed junk food addict, but insists she only eats it very rarely because she is too worried about the health implications of munching on it.
She told Britain's TV Hits magazine, "I am a junk food lover, but I've had to curb that quite a bit since I'm not a teenager any more. I think it's important to take care of yourself, especially as a woman. Mostly I think it's really about curbing that so you don't get heart disease or cancer or anything like that."
Christina, who is married to music executive Jordan Bratman, puts herself through a grueling exercise regime and sticks to a reasonably strict diet to make sure she doesn't get fat.
She added, "I'm just trying to take care of myself, trying to get as much rest as possible, exercising every day and being healthy and getting my beauty sleep. I do a lot of weight training and some cardio - I like feeling strong."

I really do wish that people would think for themselves instead of paying attention to what everyone else thinks. A lot of people go to great lengths to exercise, eat nutritionally and look after their health. They still die from heart attacks, strokes, cancer, etc. I have a friend who is obsessed with vitamins and health supplements, he regularly pops obscene amounts of pills to try to keep himself healthy. I always tell him not to bother. You only have ONE life, you should live it to the full and stop worrying about your health constantly. I don't take any vitamins or supplements whatsoever, and I eat absolutely whatever I like-regardless of it's nutritional value-and I enjoy my life. Why shouldn't I, I am young and healthy and I am at an age where I can eat what I wish and get away with it and not put on much weight.
Christina obviously has to watch her weight as she is in the public eye, but she should not be a slave to nutrition. Nobody should. I think vitamin pills should be banned, they make money by manipulating peoples insecurities. Vitamin pills only work psychologically anyway, they don't actually make people physically well or healthy, they just lull people into a false sense of security because people assume that taking them will make them healthy, this puts vitamin supplements into the placebo category of healthcare.
I go to McDonalds, I eat pizza, I go to KFC and Burger King. So what? Live your life and have fun doing so, if people just sit around all day sipping glasses of Volvic and picking at salads, they are going to go through life being miserable. Eat junk food, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes. As the French always say; What is the point of life if you don't enjoy yourself? That is a philosophy I would like to live by.
