The Welsh actress - who lives in Bermuda and New York with her actor husband Michael Douglas and their children, nine-year-old son Dylan and six-year-old-daughter Carys - was so frustrated with the constant paparazzi presence she gave up her glamorous Los Angeles lifestyle to focus on her family life.

Catherine Zeta Jones is to star in the Broadway show "A Little Night Music." The Hollywood beauty - who won an Oscar for her performance in 2002 movie "Chicago" - is due to hit the stage for the revival of the Stephen Sondheim musical about the romantic lives of several couples alongside British-born actress Angela Lansbury.

Michael Douglas had knee surgery so he can chase away his daughter's future boyfriends. The "Fatal Attraction" star - who has two children, Dylan, eight, and six-year-old Carys with wife Catherine Zeta Jones - underwent an operation last month to replace his knee joint after damaging it while skiing.

However, the 64-year-old actor jokes the main reason for the surgery was to make sure he's fit enough to play the role of the protective father once Carys is old enough to start dating.
