A cameraman has claimed he had two-and-a-half minute sex romp with Britain's Princess Diana.
Sebastian Rich, 52, makes the sordid claim in his autobiography - which he is currently offering to the publisher with the highest bid.
According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the award-winning former ITN cameraman hopes to make £1 million from his kiss-and-tell tome.
He claims Diana initiated the secret fling because she was jealous of the affair he was having with a royal courtier.
Royal spokesman has dismissed the claims as "absurd" and "preposterous."
The royal source said: "Imagine how it is going to make Prince William and Prince Harry feel. They are well used to attacks on their dead mother but even they will feel this has gone too far."
Rich met Diana on a year-long assignment to film her and Prince Charles for the documentary 'In Public, In Private' in 1986.
At the time, he was married, with a young daughter and Diana's marriage was reportedly in tatters.
A colleague, who worked with Rich on the project, revealed: "During the filming there was a lot of flirting between Diana and Seb."
Details of the romp take up five pages of Rich's 358-paged autobiography "Through The Looking Glass."
A pal said: "Sebastian does not want to make a big deal about it. But as it is a book on his life he feels it right to include it."
