Brittany Murphy is "the boss" in her marriage, her husband Simon Monjack has revealed. British writer-and-director Simon says allowing Brittany to make all the decisions is the key to a happy marriage.
Simon told PEOPLE magazine: "I've learned one thing in life: A man can only say two things - yes or no. Everything else is up to a woman. It's the only way for a happy marriage. That's why I leave everything up to the boss. I simply limit it to yes or no."
The couple are currently working on new movie "The Painting," in which Brittany plays a British spy.
Brittany said: "I get to be British which I'm excited about! I want to make the British very proud so I want to make sure it's impeccable."
The "Sin City" star also revealed her close bond with Simon helps when they are working together.
She said: "We didn't even have to say anything. It's like we could read each other's minds."
Brittany, 29, wed Simon in a secret ceremony in May. The news was only revealed when Brittany and Simon arrived at the Kentucky Derby sporting wedding rings.
