Brittany Murphy has a reputation for being a little bit kooky. But the latest rumor surrounding the star is the strangest yet.
While many of her fans have just recovered from the news that she married Simon Monjack in a secret ceremony, now news has emerged that Brittany has a stalker - and her husband was kidnapped.
According to sources, the "Clueless" star is concerned about "a high-powered Hollywood player" who is stalking her. The same Peeping Tom allegedly kidnapped Simon, before he married the actress, and held him captive for 10 days. Brittany spent a large chunk of her bank balance paying her then-boyfriend's ransom.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper, "When he came back, he had head injuries. He was pale and sometimes had trouble standing."
Simon, a screenwriter, has had his reputation smeared in the press after it was discovered that the British citizen was imprisoned by U.S. immigration because he outstayed his visa for the country. Coincidently, the prison dates and kidnapping dates overlap.
