Brittany pulled a perfect celebrity trick and left the public "clueless."
The actress married her boyfriend, 37-year-old screenwriter Simon Monjack, weeks ago in a private ceremony. The couple was able to keep their nuptials a secret until they arrived at a Playboy magazine party at the Kentucky Derby wearing wedding bands.
Now, Brittany's publicist has confirmed that the petite star is a "Mrs."
The rep told "E! News" the pair wed "several weeks ago in a very intimate ceremony."
And Brittany is one happy bride. According to celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, she was given two engagement rings. He told "Access Hollywood, "The couple couldn't decide which ring they liked best, so they bought both. She got two big platinum and diamond cushion-cut whoppers - one big white and one big yellow."
Brittany, who rose to fame in the '90s teen flick "Clueless" and appeared in "Sin City" and "Don't Say A Word," met "Factory Girl" writer Simon after her two previous engagements broke up.
The star also dated Ashton Kutcher before he married Demi Moore.

The world is an unfortunate place because Simon Monjack is in it. He stalks J DATE (Jewish online dating service) for unsuspecting women and fools them with his charismatic personality, British accent, and pseudo wealth, in order to live off of their money. Simon’s evil knows no bounds. He drops other people’s money like it is nothing. He is nothing but a sharp tongue, brilliant manipulator, and thief. His mood swings are erratic with a childish rage that pops up out of nowhere. He is Bipolar and has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Brittany, he is dangerous and will tell you anything you want to hear. His life is his own fantasy script that he re-writes every day. Poor Britany- Simon dated my best friend for 6 months- flew out to LA and never came back- she then realized he had chrarged hundreds of thousands of dollars on her credit card-they were engaged with a fake five ct diamond ring- This could only be done by a ruthless SOB- by the way he also claimed that his money was in Switzerland and due to banking laws could not be sent to the US so they had to live off her $$ and credit cards (opening new ones in her name of course)until his money coudl be sent.

Simon Monjack is a spoiled child who only recognizes his own needs and will continue to disrupt lives and abuse women to satisfy those needs. He lives in his own fantasy world where the facts continue to change constantly. I knew him for a short time - he abused someone very close to me - a beautiful trusting person who remains trusting and beautiful thanks to a wonderful support system of dear friends who all fell for Simon’s charade as well He is slick. We are so greatful that he is gone from our lives but we feel for his new inner circle - “watch your wallets and your backsides”.

I am one of Brittany's best friends. I've known her for years, and have spent plenty of time with her and Simon. I KNOW FOR A FACT that all of these rumors about him are completely unfounded!
For one, Brittany's security team DID do a very thorough background check on him when the two began to date (which she was not aware of at the time) and there was NOT ONE THING that came up about Simon that cause anyone concern. I HAVE SEEN THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION MYSELF!
It showed no record of any past marriages, or any sort of financial trouble (in fact - quite the opposite). Simon is still friends with several of his ex girlfriends which wouldn't be possible if he was such a lying, cheating, con-artist would it?
Obviously someone is trying to sabotage his reputation by posing as an "ex-wife" and "ex-stepdaughter". It makes me absolutely sick.
Simon is one of the sweetest, most generous people I know. He has never taken any money from Brittany but actually spoils that girl rotten with gifts and flowers almost daily - and TWO wedding rings? I was with the pair at their home when they were looking at the rights - they ARE real, and HE PAID FOR THEM. He treats her like a princess and they are very much in love. She's very lucky to have found, what I believe is truly, her soul mate. I have never seen that girl so happy

I know Simon Monjack personally and it completely breaks my heart to see all of this dirty gossip being spread around about him. I was (notice I said “was”) best friends with a girlfriend he had several years ago. The reason I am no longer friends with her is because she asked me to help spread nasty false stories about him on the internet. I liked Simon when they were dating and was sad when he broke up with her because I believed he was the best thing that ever happened to her. It seems she is somewhat bitter and jealous and she is showing her true colors with these cruel rumors. I have a conscience that I cannot ignore and feel that it is the least I can do to tell the truth in hopes to save his reputation.
Simon is a very good, honest person. The person spreading these rumors (and, by the way, they are all coming from the same ruthless person who is claiming to be his ex wife, and ex step daughter) is not by any means a good, honest person.
Don’t believe everything you hear, people. I don’t know Brittany personally, but I do know that she found herself a gem of a man, and I am very happy for them both.

Simon as a sadist is getting pleasure from all this attention. He has psychologically harmed many women and if you all will observe, he is callous to women but quite charming at first until he finds out their banking information. None of these women who are accomplished in some way, wants to show their shame for being conned and taken by Simon Monjack, in public, that is why they are hiding behind the internet as a forum for release. Simon you have a girl child who will also be affected by all this mess you have created.

Misogynists and Sadists do not think of others only their gratification. Simon Monjack will never see in himself the long term effects of what he has done to women. He is not the only guy doing this to women and he knows it so that gives them a reason to blame the victims. Their money is sitting in the bank while he/they need it to live and these young women are so desperate for marriage or relationships that their presentation to these men are welcomed as these men have nothing else going for them but their charm and premeditating ways, which can be quite convincing.
Brittany a psychiatrist is waiting for your call and I hope your mother is in good shape to at least listen to you through all this as you will discover your friends will only be there for so long.
Get an annulment.
