Alli Sims may be an aspiring singer but she could make a good actress.
The former personal assistant has been reportedly at war with her ex-boss Britney Spears and is siding with Kevin Federline in the custody matter, but when asked Alli is diplomatic and friendly.
Britney's one-time entourage member is now launching herself as a singer. She has posted a cover of "On My Own" from the musical "Les Miserables" on her official website and is working on original material.
Alli, 26, says Britney was more than supportive of her new career. She said, "She heard my songs on the laptop and was like, 'I love this song! This is you singing?' She has always been supportive."
However, Alli is not planning to following in Britney's footsteps. She told PEOPLE, "I don't dance, I'm not pop. I have a more bluesy voice, more Norah Jones-ish. I don't want to appeal to just my age group and younger."
Brit has been under fire recently for her questionable parenting skills. Alli comes to her defense, despite allegations that she is supporting Lynn Spears and K-Fed in taking the children away from Britney, and says, "She's a wonderful mom and she is so hands-on...Britney loves those babies to death. And they adore her...I love her, she's beautiful inside and out. We're still great friends."
Britney has had a new personal assistant since Alli. However, Shannon Funk has left the position and is possibly going to reveal all in an interview.
