The 26-year-old star has added fuel to her ex-husbands fiery battle by abdicating from her legal responsibilities.
However, since her noticeable absence at the Los Angeles Superior Court, sources close to the "Toxic" singer have revealed that she was suffering from anxiety when she was required to go from her house to the court house.
One closest to Britney, Sam Lutfi, has confirmed to E! Online that Britney was too panicked by the media attention to leave her mansion. He said, "We got up and got ready to go. Her attorneys came to pick her up, but when she saw the media frenzy outside her house, her anxiety sky rocketed."
