Britney Spears will spend the summer working on her new album. The 'Toxic' singer has been "having fun" in the recording studio and is delighted with the songs she has created so far.
Britney's manager Larry Rudolph said: "She is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album. She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters, and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet."
"She's giggly in the studio. Some days she'll go in and get nothing done. Some times she'll just play around a little bit."
Rudolph also says Britney, 26, is totally focused on her music and despite having fun, she is committed to getting her life back on track.
He explained: "She's the type of person who has the eye of the tiger."
"She has got people around her that really care about her and are there to point her in the right direction in respect to the things she should be concentrating on - her life."
After losing custody of her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline following her hospitalization in January, Britney has cleaned up her act and is set to soon regain joint custody.
