Pop star Britney Spears is everywhere, and soon she will appear right in your living room. Spears has signed on to do a guest role in the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother."
Spears is no stranger to television, having played a conservative talk show host alongside flamboyant Sean Haye's in a 2006 episode of "Will & Grace."
She and ex-husband Kevin Federline also had a brief run with their reality show "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic."
On "How I Met Your Mother," Spears will play a secretary.
Spears, who is a non-stop target of the paparazzi, won't have to worry about the media while shooting her guest spot. The series is shot on a secure FOX lot.
Spears's father, Jamie Spears, is acting as co-conservator for his daughter and gave her permission to appear on the sitcom.
