Britney Spears doesn't want her kids full time, her first husband Jason Alexander says. The pop star's husband of 55 hours tells In Touch magazine that Spears confessed to him that she wants to see her kids but not all the time.
"She wants to see them, but she doesn't want to be a full-time mom," Alexander says. "She said it doesn't matter if she doesn't get them back full-time, and that she can always have another kid later on."
Spears, who married Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004 and divorced him 55 hours later, has apparently been keeping in touch with him recently. He says that the 26-year-old singer called him around Christmas and they have been talking to each other ever since. He says, "[Britney] said she'd call me back, and we've been speaking ever since."
Spears is involved in a bitter custody battle with another ex-husband, Kevin Federline, for their sons, Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2. She was stripped of her rights to see them after an episode in January where Spears had a clash with the police.
