Britney Spears has been ordered to pay Kevin Federline's legal fees. The "Toxic" singer must pay Mark Vincent Kaplan, her ex husband's attorney, $375,000 for his four months of work.

It has been reported last week that the 26-year-old pop star's lawyer contested the fee and argued Kaplan was only entitled to $150,000 to $175,000. However, the court sided with the other camp and ordered Spears to pay up.

Los Angeles Court Commissioner Scott Gordon says the bill was "reasonable" because the "actions of [Spears] caused the great majority of litigation."

According to Kaplan, his fees were "far under market for the package" and that "this is not a simple custody case."

Besides the settlement of the legal fee, the court also granted Spears' dad Jamie permission to sell some of her 9 cars and that the restraining order against Sam Lutfi be extended for another month.
