Pop singer Britney Spears now has a little spending money. A judge ruled on Monday that the singer could have a $1,500-a-week allowance, which is pocket change considering she is worth an estimated $100 million.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled Monday that Britney could have the weekly allowance on a debit card.
Goetz also approved the hiring of attorney Jorge Hernandez, who will get a $25,000 retainer, to be an around-the-clock consultant on all questions containing to the co-conservatorship.
A second lawyer, Tom Hansen, will receive $15,000 a month for his services as an entertainment lawyer consulting on Spears' entertainment deals and contracts.
Britney's father, Jamie Spears, currently has co-conservatorship of his daughter and her estate.
