Britney Spears is caught up in another shoplifting scandal. The troubled pop star has reportedly walked out of an L.A. boutique wearing a top that was not yet paid for.
The 26-year-old Spears was shopping at the exclusive Fred Segal store in Melrose Avenue when she "forgot" to pay for the $200 blouse she was wearing and exited the store. She was with her 25 aides and bodyguards when the incident happened.
"Britney seemed to be in a daze. She rushed around looking at coats and bags and then left with her gang of 25 people," a shopper tells The Sun.
"The staff were just staring at each other, then said 'I think she's taken a top.' There was chaos outside with fans and police."
This is not the first time Spears walked out of a store with an unpaid good in tow. In December, she was caught picking up a lighter from a gas station shop before she exited from the door. She had also reportedly taken a wig from a sex shop.
