Britney Spears may be involved in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband and the laughing stock of Hollywood, but she still has time for love.
The fallen pop star, who now has restricted visits with her two children after almost a year of constant partying and erratic behavior, has reportedly met a new boy toy to put a smile back on her face.
According to Life and Style magazine, Britney has been enjoying secret dates with a waiter/actor who works at one of her favorite restaurants Mirabella.
The "Toxic" singer and Michael Marchand have been spotted having a late dinner together and he has been seen at her Malibu mansion.
A source told the tabloid, "Michael Marchand came a little after midnight, and Britney Spears came in right after. They were being discreet. Forty-five minutes later, they left the restaurant together. He was charming. He made Britney laugh and looked at her with this secret smile. They left in separate cars."
A Michael insider added, "Their chemistry was immediate. He's very turned on by her."
Britney, who married her back-up dancer Kevin Federline before divorcing him in late 2006, has been formally single for all of this year.
