Britney Spears has been busy firing many of her employees, including her manager, who were part of the plan to get her to go into rehab.
Unable to see the positive effects of treatment herself, the fallen pop star has continued to ostracize any people in her life who believe she has a problem. The latest to go from her inner circle? Her mom.
According to the National Enquirer, Britney is refusing to speak to her mother because she encouraged the much-needed stay.
A source told the tabloid, "Britney has cut off all communication with her mom. She's gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her."
Preferring to go through her days alone, Britney has cut off contact with those who care about her. According to the source, the mother-of-two is unable to see that her mom only had her best interests at heart.
The source continued, "Britney says her mom betrayed her and she refuses to get over it. When she was told to give her mom a call, Britney said: 'I'm busy; I have my own kids now'."
Britney also has a strained relationship with her father. The pair had a war of words through the press when Jamie Spears publicly sided with Larry Rudolf when Britney fired the manager.
