Hopefully it would be the end of a very publicized era but the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline saga isn't over yet.
While the former husband and wife are now officially divorced, a custody battle over Sean Preston and Jayden James could become a reality. The former spouses have currently agreed to joint custody of their boys, both aged under three, but sources have revealed that K-Fed is investigating the possibility of becoming a single parent.
The failed rapper is allegedly becoming increasingly concerned for this children's safety because Britney insists on partying constantly. An insider told E! News, "It's not about the money. It's about her partying. It's her partying ways that is forcing Kevin to put his foot down."
The source reveals that Kev and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, could be filing court documents as early as August 3.
Britney's lawyer, Laura Wasser, acknowledged that the pop star and Fedex are not completely happy with the custody arrangement. She said, "I think she's okay with the terms. I think they were each hoping they would have more custody time, but hopefully that can be worked out."
Currently, Kev will receive $15,000 a month from Spears' for child support. He is also receiving $20,000 per month in spousal support, as per their pre-nuptial agreement, but that will end in November 2007.
Since their marriage breakdown at the end of 2006, Britney has shaved her head, forgotten to wear underpants, been to rehab and emerged with a questionable weave and an ongoing desire to party. Kev, meanwhile, has laid low and given up his dreams of bring a rapper.
