Federal tax filings have shown that Brangelina gave more than $8 million donations in just one year. The newly released federal tax filings prove that power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's charity donations amounted to millions in 2006.
Huffington Post reports that Pitt chipped in $4,402,317 while Jolie shelled out $4,123,613. This doesn't include the "Troy" star's Make It Right Foundation, which raised $5 million, in 2007.
According to the 2006 records, their funds handed out $1 million to Doctors Without Borders and to Global AIDS Alliance, $137,935 to Namibia Red Cross Action Program, $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation, $100,000 to Global Green U.S.A. and to the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation.
Other smaller donations include $20,000 to a Los Angeles art park and $5,000 each to two orphanages the "Tomb Raider" star had visited.
Meanwhile, the Jolie's co-star in "Wanted", Morgan Freeman, has some kind words for the actress. He describes Jolie to People magazine, "Aside from all that physical beauty, she's a real person."
