Brad Pitt is adopting lover Angelina Jolie's two children. The heartthrob actor is so desperate to be the father of Angelina's adopted tots that he has filed a legal bid to make them officially his.
If he is successful four-year-old Maddox and baby Zahara will have their surname changed to Jolie-Pitt. Brad's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, revealed: "We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children."
An insider told America's Life & Style magazine hunky Brad is thrilled he is set to become a dad for the first time. The source claimed: "The ink isn't even dry on the adoption papers and Brad is literally jumping for joy. "He's calling friends and telling them the good news." The announcement has sparked fresh rumors Brad and Angelina - who fell in love filming 'Mr and Mrs Smith' - are planning to tie the knot.
Last month it was claimed the couple had signed a pre-nuptial agreement after deciding to wed in December. Angelina reportedly insisted on the agreement to ensure Maddox and ten-month-old Zahara would be well looked after if the pair divorced.
