Brad Pitt isn't the only philanthropist in the family. The A-List star's only brother Doug shares Pitt's commitment to helping the less fortunate.

Doug has announced the creation of Care To Learn Fund program, which aims to meet the immediate needs of students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools, including health, hunger, and hygiene. Both brothers had spent their early years in Springfield.

Brad's brother tells People magazine, "Springfield is an awesome city. But like every city in America, we have poverty here. We have kids coming to school wearing shorts in 20-degree weather. We have kids who are hungry. We have girls who don't come to school because they don't have feminine products."

Doug also says his famous brother is supporting the project. "I told Brad about some of the stories I'd heard of kids here in Springfield. He was on board from day one."

Every dollar raised locally through the Care to Learn Fund will be matched with three dollars; $1 each from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, Springfield philanthropist Jim D. Morris, and by an anonymous donor.
