Brad Pitt says drugs turned him into a "doughnut." The "Inglourious Basterds" actor realized he had to move out of Hollywood when his marijuana use began to get heavier and he started isolating himself away from his friends.

He admitted to Parade magazine: "I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored. I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done."

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were being lined up to star in the "Time Traveler's Wife" - before their split. The former couple - who separated in January 2005 before finalizing their divorce in October 2005 - would have been ideal for the lead roles of Chicago librarian Henry DeTamble and his love interest Clare Abshire, according to screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin.

Bruce said: "I thought Brad and Jennifer would be perfect for this film. I just saw them as a perfect version of Henry and Clare."

Jennifer Aniston doesn't mind being seen as a "lonely girl." The "Baster" actress - who has had failed relationships with Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, Paul Sculfor and John Mayer - insists she is happy, but can understand why her personal life attracts so much negative attention.

She told Elle magazine: "I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It's fine. I can take it. I am supportive of anybody who is in a place that's not their strongest but is ready to push forward."

Brad Pitt has hinted he wants to quit acting. The 45-year-old actor - who raises six children with partner Angelina Jolie - feels he has achieved almost everything he wants to do in his career and doesn't believe there are as many possibilities for him as he gets older.

He said: "I think acting is a younger man's game; there are fewer interesting parts for older people and we all get older. But I feel like I've done it. I've kind of had my time and that's quite freeing."

Brad Pitt doesn't party after 6pm since becoming a father.

The 'Inglourious Basterds' actor, who has six children with partner Angelina Jolie, accepts his wild days are behind him because parenthood has left him exhausted.

Jordan's Queen Noor has invited Angelina Jolie to stay with her. The 57-year-old royal - who is the widow of King Hussein - is good friends with the Hollywood actress and has opened her home to the star during her stay in Amman.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Angelina will be staying with Her Majesty Queen Noor, who is a good friend of hers."
