Although Borat's new movie is currently a huge hit at the box office, the Kazakh character portrayed by Sacha Baron Cohen was given a serious blow over the weekend - literally.
Sacha happened to be messing with the wrong man when he was walking the streets of New York City on Saturday. The outrageously funny comedian was in character as Borat, the famous Kazakh journalist when he was attacked by a man on the streets.
The British star was heading to dinner with his good friend Hugh Laurie after making an appearance on Saturday Night Live when he decided to play around with a random passerby.
According to StarPulse.com, Sacha casually walked up to the moody man and said, "I like your clothings. Are nice. Please may I buying? I want have sex with it." However, the man - who was in dire need of some lovin' himself and apparently could not take a joke - responded by attacking Sacha and punching him in the face several times.
The comedian's friend ultimately stepped in and saved the day when he pushed the man to the side, so Borat could pout and exclaim "That not nice!"
