Bobby Brown is out of jail, but he seems to have no idea how he got his freedom back.

The rapper spent three nights in a Massachusetts jail for not paying almost $20,000 in child support payments. The cash-strapped star was reportedly bailed out by Washington D.C. radio station, Hot 99.5 FM, after they paid the $19,150 bill.

However, the "My Prerogative" singer is now dismissing the claims.

He told the "Tom Joyner Morning Show," "That didn't happen. They didn't pay it. A bunch of my friends got together and got me out."

But contrary to Brown's friends claim, his lawyer insists it was his brother who raised the funds. Phaedra Parks agrees that the station did not contribute a dime towards the bill and points to Brown's brother.

However, to make the matter more confusing, it has been reported that Brown was fired from the radio gig, which he had agreed to do in return for the radio bailing him out.

Whitney Houston's estranged husband hung up while live on air and never called back because he didn't want to talk about the child support payments...

This isn't surprising, considering there is a good chance he doesn't know what is happening with them.
