After spending the past few days in jail, Bobby Brown has been given a ticket for freedom and money to give to his kids.
The Grammy award winning rapper was saved by Washington, D.C's "Hot 99.5" radio station.
The program has covered the "My Prerogative" singer's overdue child support payment of $19,150 and in return, Brown will appear on the show for a week. Not a bad gig for a star who hasn't had a hit in almost a decade.
The faded star was arrested at his daughter's cheerleading competition for failing to pay child support.
The trouble-prone performer, who recently split from Whitney Houston, has failed to pay money to his children in 2004 and 2005.
Without a hit album to speak of since 1997's "Forever," Brown is reportedly trying to find a job. While the radio work will only last one week and his reality show "Being Bobby Brown" failed when Houston left, E! News reports that he may try and relaunch a solo show in a bid to earn enough to make his payments on time.
