Fast-paced spy thriller '24' finally broke its spell of bad luck at the 58th annual Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday (27.08.06).

Kiefer Sutherland won his first-ever Emmy for best actor in '24', as the real-time drama series was the big series winner of the night - picking up five awards.

'Grey's Anatomy' and '24' lead this year's Emmy Award nominations.

The medical drama and the real-time action series have received 11 and 12 nominations respectively.
