Gwyneth Paltrow suffered from postpartum depression following the birth of her two-year-old son Moses.

The 'Shakespeare in Love' actress - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - didn't even realize she had the condition, often referred to as postnatal depression, which can occur after giving birth.

Gwyneth Paltrow's recent hospital dash was due to a "gastrointestinal situation." The Oscar-winning actress' chef friend Mario Batali - who is to co-host a Spanish cookery show with Gwyneth - revealed the mother-of-two is "doing great" after being treated for intestinal complications last week.

He told Us Weekly magazine: "She had a little gastrointestinal situation. It's now been straightened out. She's doing great."
