| DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, has died at the age of 36. He was found in dead in a Manhattan apartment on late Friday afternoon. At this time it is unclear what his cause of dead was, but TMZ is reporting that a prescription bottle of pills was found near his body. His death comes as a shock to many, especially after Goldstein survived a plane crash last September after a Learjet he was traveling on caught fire after the plane aborted takeoff in South Caroline. Four people died in the crash that he and Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, survived. | |
| The on-again, off-again couple Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler continue their custody battle, once again drawing the general public into one of their infamous brawls after the police were called in on Monday and tweets began to fly. It began when Barker went to drop the couple's two kids, son Landon, 5 and daughter Alabama, 3, off at Moakler's Rhode Island family home. Life & Style is reporting that the two got into a major blowout, with an insider saying, "He started screaming and wouldn't leave the kids with her." | |
| Pete Wentz hates groups who write lots of songs. The Fall Out Boy bassist sparked rumors the band are set to split last week when he said they had no plans for new material, but he now insists they are staying together. He said: "I think I fuelled that rumor accidentally. I think that when someone asked me if we were working on any new Fall Out Boy songs, I said, 'No, not right now.'" | |
| Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz married last year, but now they're coming out in support of their gay friends and fans who can't do the same. The couple shot a campaign in support of gay marriage for "NOH8." In the shot, the two are featured posing together with "NOH8" written on their cheeks and duct tape over their mouths, while Simpson-Wentz held a wedding veil. The shots were taken by photographer Adam Bouska on Monday. Bouska launched NOH8 with his partner, Jeff Parshley, after Proposition 8 passed in California in November. | |
| Travis Barker is eating meat for the first time in 25 years to recover from his plane crash injuries. The former Blink 182 drummer - who has been a strict vegetarian for most of his life - was advised to change his diet after suffering third degree burns to his legs and torso when the jet he was traveling in crashed on take off in Columbia, South Carolina, last month. | |
