Talking openly about sex to the adult characters on "The O.C" came naturally to Rachel Bilson.
The actress, who played Summer Roberts on the recently wrapped drama, told Your Look magazine that she spoke freely to her mom about her sex life as a teenager.
Bilson's mother is a sex therapist and the star revealed that her profession gave her a sixth sense about sex.
She told the magazine, "She knew the day after I lost my virginity. Oh, yeah. She started talking to me about sex. She said, 'It happened last night, didn't it?' I was like, 'How did you do that?!' She did the whole mom thing, of course: Use condoms, etc. Weird, but helpful."
The cute star, who is single after ending her three-year relationship with Adam Brody in December, also has her own advice on the opposite sex.
Finding Mr. Right is simple, according to Bilson. She said, "If you're scared he's going to try and kiss you, it's probably not right. If you really want him to kiss you, he's the guy."
However, she has no advice on coping with the breakdown of relationships. Bilson remained closed-lipped on her failed romance with Brody, saying, "I don't talk about my breakup with Adam. I don't want the world to know everything. It feels awkward. Invasive."
